SDLeary Different Worlds basically predated modern desktop publishing. After all, how do you make a small fortune in RPG's? Here's the intro the WFP: Welcome to Wynns Footprints magazine, a reprint of the articles from the late and much lamented Wyrm's Footnotes. Wyrm's Footnotes was originally published by Greg Stafford to support his White Bear and Red Moon boardgame, and only later became a RuneQuest magazine. There were fourteen issues of Wynns Footnotes produced from 1976 to 1982. Seven of the first eight issues were edited by Greg Stafford, #3 was edited by Tadashi Ehara, and the last six by Charlie Krank.

Some articles from early Wyrm's Footnotes were also reprinted in the RuneQuest Companion published by the Chaosium in 1983. The reprinted articles in this volulne are substantially unchanged from the originals.

Where possible we have annotated any major contradictions with subsequent published works, or more recent Gloranthan investigations. Some articles have been expanded to include portions that, for various reasons, were not included in the original.

Tales of the Reaching Moon #1-18. Missing #19-20. In the Summer of 1989, David Hall, Brian Duguid and Matthew Tudor published the first issue of the British RQ fanzine, Tales of the Reaching Moon. It was clearly a fanzine, somewhat amateur, but full of lots of fun Gloranthan material.

The layout and content of Tales of the Reaching Moon improved after issue one, and shortly it became an international magazine. Issue 4 was produced in Australia, and currently ToTRM is easily available in all of Europe, New Zealand, Australia, and the US.
